Questions, answered plainly.
What Safeer does, what it deliberately does not do, and how a store or a delivery company starts using it.
What is Safeer?
Safeer is delivery management and live tracking for stores and delivery companies. It creates and assigns orders, shows every driver and stop on a map, records how each customer paid, and reconciles what each driver is holding — in Arabic and English.
Does Safeer process payments?
No. Customers pay the driver directly in cash, by Visa or by CliQ. The driver records the type and amount, and Safeer tracks, reports and reconciles those records. There is no card data anywhere in the system.
Can a store use its own drivers?
Yes. A store can assign an order to its own driver, or to a delivery company it has a contract with. The company then assigns one of its drivers. The contract decides how the delivery fee is handled.
Does the driver app work offline?
Yes. Status changes, payments and location pings are queued on the phone and sent when the connection returns. A transient failure keeps its place in the queue; a refusal from the server is shown to the driver rather than retried forever.
How are balances calculated?
From an append-only ledger. Every collection, handover, fee deduction and correction is a signed entry, and a balance is their sum — never a number edited in place. A handover reduces the balance only when the store confirms it; a disputed one does not.
Can we use both Arabic and English?
Both are first-class. Layouts mirror, typography is IBM Plex Arabic, every screen and email is translated, PDFs render in English, Arabic or both side by side, and each user chooses Western or Arabic-Indic digits.
Which documents can we issue?
Customer receipts from the tracking link, store statements, driver settlement statements and delivery-company invoices — numbered per tenant, branded with your logo and colours, with credit notes for corrections and CSV export alongside the PDF.
How does a customer track a delivery?
The store sends a tokenized link by SMS or WhatsApp. It opens a public page with the live driver position, ETA and the store's branding; after delivery it offers the receipt, and it allows a reschedule within the allowed window. The link expires.
What does the demo include?
A fictional store and delivery company you can explore as a dispatcher, a company admin or a driver, with simulated drivers moving on a map. It needs no account, lasts 60 minutes, is isolated from every real tenant and resets itself.
